Michelle grew up in Sydney, on the edge of coastal bush land and this proximity to nature has informed her art practice ever since. Studying Art and majoring in Filmmaking at Central, School of Art, Perth WA she produced work from Margaret River and the Abrohlis Islands off Geraldton.

Michelle then moved to New York and became immersed in the creative arts community, spending 10 years working as an Art Director for Conde Nast and other publishing houses while studying watercolour painting.

She now lives, on the edge of Ku ring gai Chase National Park in an artist studio amongst the trees, and is a passionate advocate for bush regeneration.

Still life with landscapes suggest stories of ever changing family relationships against an Australian backdrop.
